Why Do Bulls Have Nose Rings?
Veterinarians know very well why there should be nose rings among the bulls. They said that these bulls have to wear nose rings primarily for safety purposes in view of their handlers. Not only for safety purposes but also for them to be handled more easily and orderly by those people who are in-charge of them. Indeed, a bull which has no nose ring will truly be very difficult to manage and poses an extreme danger not only to the family of the handler living near it but even those passerby who may happen to see this particular bull which does not have a nose ring.
The nose ring therefore makes the handler control his bull in the easiest manner. Likewise with the nose ring the bull could even associate with people without threatening their lives. Now you may ask, when should a bull wear a nose ring? According to the veterinarians, the best time for the bulls to wear a nose ring is when it is still a toddler, so that, the said animal will be trained as early as a young bull. The manner of putting this ring in the nose of a young bull is basically with the help of an anesthesia which helps the bull to accept the nose ring with less pain and discomfort.
The bulls which possess nose ring easily follow their handler, because of the fact that the part of the bull’s nose where the ring is located is so sensitive enough that a slight movement of the ring will enable the bull to follow the one doing it. Mostly, those people who move the bull through its nose ring will be followed by the bull itself and will not be caused by any harm. Thus every bull should therefore have a nose ring.
