Raspberries are one famous fruit that is evidently loved by many.  While some countries are deprived of producing such interesting kind of fruit, raspberries are cultivated and harvested all year round in some selected areas such as in Canada, Germany and the United States.

Raspberries possess features similar to other recognized kinds of berries such as the widely known strawberries. They are commonly found to be red or purple in colour and can have a range of taste from sweet to sour.

However, one feature that remains to be unique among raspberries is their ability to grow hairs. One of the most vital functions of the hairs that raspberries have is their contribution to the reproduction of such kind of fruit. Raspberries reproduce by attaching to animals so that they are transported from one habitat to another. In order for such mechanism to occur, they must adequately utilize their hairs so that they can cling to the animals and migrate. In this light, their seeds will then be distributed as the animals tread on a path.

More so, raspberries naturally have hairs to serve as protection. In the absence of hairs, raspberries have the highest tendencies of getting easily damaged or will easily wither, especially during massive changes of temperature. Thus, it is but vital that raspberries grow, along with the natural parts it possesses to adequately serve its function as one of the most delectable fruits that have been discovered.

Until this point in time, raspberries have been widely cultivated and distributed in various countries, more commonly in the western regions. The great taste and unforgettable lusciousness they provide undeniably makes many dishes and desserts highly appreciated, differentiated and adorned. More so, raspberries are known to give off essential nutrients that greatly benefits health.
