Why Do Women Wear Thongs?

Today, more and more women are getting used to wearing thongs in the beach and sometimes casually under their tight pants or skirts. Because of this, thongs have become more and more comfortable, stylish and sexy. In a recent survey we found out that most women who wear thongs came from Latin America and Asia including the conservative country of India.

So why do women wear them?

Ã’šÃ‚· It prevents any visible panty lines when wearing light colored and tight pants, skirts and low rise jeans.

Ã’šÃ‚· It prevents ‘ride up’ when in public. No need to pull at one’s underwear, skirt or pants when it gradually slides up the legs, hips or waists.

Ã’šÃ‚· For fashion. Most thongs today are designed with accessories like silver pendants etc.

Ã’šÃ‚· To feel a lot sexier. They feel more like an ‘adult’ while wearing them.

Ã’šÃ‚· For those women who love to tan, wearing a thong can help minimize those annoying tan lines.

Ã’šÃ‚· Women wear them when they want to please their partner. Men find it hot and it excites them.

While many may prefer them, there are still some who oppose especially those who are aware of the possible health hazards of its continuous use. According to some gynecologists, diseases like UTI (Urinary Track Infection) and vaginal infection can be developed by persons who regularly wear thongs. Thongs can be very harmful because they irritate and inflame the region around a woman’s Bartholin’s gland. This gland is responsible for the production of lubricant during sexual intercourse. When this gland gets hemmed, a woman may develop a cyst next to the vagina.

Other reasons is that thongs can become a bacteria carrier like group B Streptococcal disease and E.coli from the anus to the vagina due to the small string connecting the front and back part.

In conclusion, thongs can be both beneficial and harmful depending on the person who uses it. It can help accentuate a woman’s sex appeal but it can also cause her to acquire dangerous diseases. I advise that you wear them properly and with caution.
