Why does Hair fall Out?

Research reveals that daily loss of hair is a normal occurrence. We lose about 100 ‘š 125 hairs per day. Hair that’s shed fall out due to the growth process. Further studies reveal that at any given time 10% of hair is in a resting phase for 2 ‘š 3 months after which this hair will fall out and a new batch of hair begins to grow. Hair loss in some people is more intensive than in others.
Androgenetic Alopecia is the number one cause of hair loss accounting for at least 95% of all hair loss. Alopecia is inherited from family members affecting men and women alike. However, it has a greater effect on some persons more than others, particularly those of the male gender. it is known as Male Pattern Baldness which results in a receding hair line and a bald spot on the top of the head.
While woman who have Androgenetic Alopecia won’t experience total baldness even in severe cases, instead it will resu lt in loss across their entire scalp. Although Androgenetic Alopecia is the main cause for hair loss, it’s not the only reason that hair loss occurs, There are medical conditions also that cause this problem such as ringworm, hypothyroidism and other fungal infections.
Abnormal or sudden hair loss can also be as a result of taking certain medications like gout medication, blood thinners, birth control pills and excessive consumption of vitamin A, taking a crash diet, sudden changes in hormones, and exposure to radiation and chemotherapy.

Hair loss has also been link to pregnancy, emotional stress or surgery, hairs loss in the cases are gradually because it can go unnoticed for up to 3-4 months after the hectic event, it will also results in slow up or stop the growth of fresh new hair .
