Wondering Why?

Why Does UPS Take So Long?

Why Does UPS Take So Long?

Delivery time frames almost always depend on the distance from the sender and receiver of the package, and the season that the package was sent. This was not the case for UPS, as stated by one of their clients in a message board in the internet. Certainly, he was not alone in his sentiments.

Several complaints have already been sent to the office and website of the United Parcel Service or more commonly known as UPS, a package delivery company which is based in the United States of America. These complaints range from bad attitudes of delivery truck drivers to undelivered and missing packages. But among these, the most common and the thing that sparked the highest criticisms was their slow service.

Their messages, according to the complainants, were never answered. Since no reasons were given by the company, the people were frustratingly held up hanging in the air and wondering where in the world their packages could be. This led them to assume and, more unfortunate for the company, accuse UPS of being incompetent.

There are a lot of presumptions that they have been putting up against the Delivery Company. One customer said that maybe the packages are not only delayed, and that they will not expect it to be delivered anymore. The missing ones are allegedly stolen already by someone in UPS. There have also been allegations that the company is just making up stories of road derailments and thick snow in order to makeup for the company’s ineptness.

One ex-employee of UPS also posted and said that in the hub, the workers are not extra careful with the boxes and that the drivers do not make the effort to look for the recipient’s address in spite of big number signs and visible signage. This resulted to misdelivery, lost or broken boxes and dissatisfied, enraged clients who have already picked up a new meaning for UPS. The dub it now as ‘Unbelievably Poor Service,. If the company does nothing about this problem, it should not expect an increase in patronage anymore.
