Why is Bible true?

Bible was not written by a single author. Bible is the collection of the works of 40 authors arranged in a single book that could provide path to the people for salvation. The works of the authors used in Bible was known to have been written since 1600 years. The statements made in this book by the various writers may appear dramatic. However, honest effort to understand the meaning that lies in the lines will make us to know that the Bible is unique and special.

Though Bible is a collection of facts taken from 66 books written by 40 authors over the period of about 1600 years, this one book was written with unity and consistency. The writers did not know earlier that the facts presented by them in their individual books will be used in Bible. Bible itself claims that it is written by the word of God. The saying from Bible All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching ……. (2 Tim. 3:16)” and No prophecy of scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation….. (2 Peter 1: 20-21)”. Jesus also claims it as true in one of the sayings of the Bible until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter ………… will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished (Mathew 5: 18).

Bible can be seen as ethically and morally an excellent work of literature. This book shows extraordinarily unity in expressing the word of God by the authors. The facts written in the Bible show that the events mentioned here are historically accurate. For example, Luke described about the details of Sergio Paulus of Cyprus”, Herod the Great”, King Agrippa” and so on which was proved in the records that these people lived in Rome previously. Another evidence to say that the Bible is true is that the prophecies mentioned in it were fulfilled. The writers of the Bible endured persecution for the sake of the Word of God written by them. Otherwise they would not have endured such a big torture. Bible saying resembles many of the other religious scriptures. Due to these reasons Bible is said to be true.
