Flax or commonly called as linseed is an annual plant with slender stems. Flax plants is very useful especially its seed. The linseed is a good source of oil which is a good food supplement.

Flax is good for our health because of its oil which has a lot of benefits. It contains omega 3 fatty acids which our body needs to lower high blood pressure. Omega 3 also prevents blood from clotting which can be a reason to avoid heart disease.

Flax oil also contains fiber, protein, and essential fatty acids which are good to our health. The oil property of flax is very natural so it contains good cholesterol which is best for the systems in the body. For those who are overweight, flax seed oil is a good weight loss supplement because it can burn off fat and can increase metabolism.

Flax can be added in our meals. It can be added in salads, can be sprinkled in cookies, and can be mixed in meat. Whatever meal you want to prepare, it is a good choice to add flaxseed oil to maintain a healthy life.

Flaxseed is also good for constipation and hemorrhoids because it is rich in fiber. This is the reason why it can be a good health supplement in cleansing the toxins in the body. Aside from that, there are researches that show people who use flax seed oil in their diet has low incidence of breast, colon, prostate, and skin cancer. It has anti-cancer properties that’s why it is recommended by dietician and nutritionists.

Flax oil and seed are healthy foods. It provides good cholesterol, promotes healthy skin, boosts immunity, lessens diabetes, lowers cholesterol, lessens cancer risks, aids in weight loss, and stabilizes cardiovascular health. Its nutritional value is too high that it must be included in our daily menu.
