Ginger has been used as a natural spice in cooking, most commonly in Asian cuisines, to add taste, smell, and spiciness to the food. But, just like any other plants, gingers have been known for having medicinal benefits as well.

Ginger is believed to be one of the powerful herbs that are proven to cure, if not prevent, various kinds of ailments that includes the following:

1. Ovarian and Colon Cancer

Gingers contain gingerols”, or its active phytonutrients, that are able to kill ovarian cancer cells because of its antioxidant, anti-tumor, and anti-inflammatory effects on cells.
