Why is vitamin so important?

Most people do not eat as healthy as they should, and they often lack certain vitamins in their diet. This is the reason why people will turn to taking vitamins. Why are vitamins so important and why do we need to take them? The simple answer to this complex question is that without vitamins we cannot survive. Vitamins provide our body with essential substance that are needed in order to have good and healthy body function.

There are six major vitamin groups and all of these will provide health benefits from them. Without these one will not be able to function well, fight off diseases, and to the point of even death. This is why people are always talking about making sure you are getting enough vitamins in your diet and if you don’t then you should make sure to take a supplement.

The six groups of vitamins are A,B,C,D,E and K. Ã’šÃ‚ Vitamin A is responsible for strengthen bones and teeth as well as helping eye sight. Vitamin A is generally found in fruits and vegetables. Vitamin B is very essential to survival as it helps in the manufacturing of red blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen to other parts of the body. Vitamin C helps with bones and helps to cure wounds, as well as preventing infections and diseases. Vitamin D is needed to help get calcium into your bones, and Vitamin E will help prevent the tissues from aging. Vitamin D has also been known to prevent vascular diseases. Finally Vitamin K will help in the digestion process by absorbing fats. All of these provide essential things that our body needs in order to stay alive. It is very important to make sure that one is getting the daily allotment of all the above vitamins.
