Why is self-esteem important?
Self-esteem is an integral part of our life. Ã’šÃ‚ Without it, we will be a failure. Ã’šÃ‚ That is why self-esteem is very important because it affects our behavior and the way we think. Ã’šÃ‚ If we have high self-esteem, we recognize our self-worth and in connection we also respect other people.
Self-esteem affects our confidence. Ã’šÃ‚ It enables us to pursue higher goals because we believe in our capacity to succeed. Ã’šÃ‚ We also become happier if we have self-esteem.
Having a very low esteem has always been a test for all of us because it means embracing the challenges of insecurity and uncertainty. Ã’šÃ‚ But then, we must not act that way. Ã’šÃ‚ We need to have a higher level of self-esteem for us to grow emotionally and psychologically. Ã’šÃ‚ With self-esteem, it is easier for us to let go of the guilt and pains that are always hiding within us.
Another importance of self-esteem is discovering what’s beyond our world.Ã’šÃ‚ We live in a world full of surprises so we need to explore more to learn the unusual and the extraordinary. Ã’šÃ‚ Once we are always exposed with the reality, we become stronger and more flexible in dealing with the struggles of life. And if we have self-esteem we appreciate ourselves more after we surpassed all the challenges of life.
We always forget that God created as with a purpose. Ã’šÃ‚ Whatever you are, you are special in His eyes. Ã’šÃ‚ Ã’šÃ‚ If you think you underrated yourself, then think again. Ã’šÃ‚ You need to rediscover your potentials, you need to value yourself.
Self-esteem helps us to give significance to our self, our ability, our worth, and our involvement to the world. Ã’šÃ‚ We must always think that we have different roles to play and our role is of utmost importance to make the world a happier place to live in.
