Why was Kate Gosselin at the Emmys?

Kate Gosselin was at the 62nd Primetime Emmy awards not because she invited herself in, contrary to the idea of some people who had bad impression of her. Kate admitted that before the event she was hoping that somebody would give her ticket to the Emmys. But things are going along her way when she got more than what she wished for. It was Jimmy Fallon, the Emmy’s host, who personally invited Kate and even casted her as part of the Glee” inspired opening skit/video spoof to start the awards along with other TV personalities like Jon Hamm, Tina Fey, Joel McHale, and the cast of Glee ‒ Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Corey Monteith, Jane Lynch, and Lea Michelle.

In the said Emmy’s video, Kate was wearing her infamous Dancing with the Stars” outfit hoping that she would get recruited by the group as part of the impromptu glee club. However, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, and the rest of the assembly turned her down. Gosselin eventually joined the fun as she performed live on stage during the Emmy’s NBC telecast.

Kate Gosselin had the time of her life during the awards night, and being able to act and dance with well-known TV performers, it made her realize that she too wanted to become a professional actress as well. She is also hopeful that she would find another love as she undertakes a whole new career.
